How to Recharge FASTag Through PhonePe?

Follow these steps:

• First of all open PhonePe application on your mobile phone. If you don’t have PhonePe account yet, get here: Download
• Next, go to “FASTag Recharge” under Recharge & Pay Bills tab.

• Select your bank provider.

• Now, enter your Car Number and click on “Confirm” (Example: AS20CG4122). For new vehicles use 17 character chassis number)

• Enter the amount of recharge of your choice.
• Complete your payment entering 6-digit UPI PIN.
• Done. You can also download receipt after completing the payment.

What If I See a “Vehicle Details Not Found” Error on PhonePe?

This may happen due to multiple reasons. Some of them are:

• Your FASTag wallet is not activated by your bank.
• Wrong issuer bank selected.
• New vehicle are generally registered with Chassis number instead of car number. You need to enter chassis number in car number field.

Please look for your bank logo on the left side of your FASTag sticker.

You can refer to the SMS received from your issuer bank to find out the chassis number.

No. You cannot cancel recharges on PhonePe.

What to do If My FASTag Recharge Payment is in Pending Status?

The status of your FASTag recharge payment will be auto-updated within 2 working days from the date of your payment.
