How to Set SMS Alert in State Bank of India Online?

Follow these steps to set SMS alert in State Bank of India online:

1. First of all visit Online SBI page. Click Here
2. Click on “Continue to Login“
3. Enter your Username, Password and click on “Login“
4. Your internet banking dashboard will open. Go to “e-Services” menu.
5. Click on “SMS Alerts Service” link.
6. Now, click on “Proceed” button.
7. Next, set values according to your choice and click on “Update” button.
8. Done! You have successfully registered for SMS alerts.

How to Disable SMS Alerts in SBI Online?

Follow these steps to disable SMS alerts in SBI online:

1. Follow up to steps 6 from above.
2. Next, click on “To disable sms alerts click here” link.
3. A message will be displayed. “Are you sure you want to disable sms alerts?” Click Ok to disable.
4. Done!

Note:

• Update your mobile number through branch or Online mode under Profile section.
• Alerts are a smart way to monitor the transactions happening in your account(s).
• SMS is trigger when your account is credit/debit for an amount above the credit /debit threshold.
• SMS is also triggered whenever the balance falls below the threshold limit.
• ‘Hold on an account’ is when a lien is marked in your account due to failure of loan repayment, statutory notice served on the account etc.
