How to Activate Central Bank of India Cheque Book Online?
Method 1: Activate Central Bank of India Cheque Through Netbanking
So, follow the below steps:
- First of all, login to your Central Bank of India net banking account. Internet Banking Login
- Once logged in, go to Enquiry & Request at the top menu.
- Now, click on the Cheque Book Activation option available under the Cheque Book section.
- Next, select your account number from the drop-down menu to fetch inactive cheque book details. Click on Submit after selecting the account number.
- You can now see an inactive new cheque book. Select it and click on Confirm.
- On the next screen, you need to authenticate this request. Select OTP via SMS and click on Submit to proceed.
- Now, enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on Submit after entering the OTP.
- In this way, new cheque book is activated for use. A confirmation message can also be seen on the screen.
Method 2: Activate CBI Cheque Book Through Mobile Banking
- First, open the Cent Mobile Banking application.
- Once the application is launched, click on Cheque Book Services under the Others menu.
- Next, select Cheque Book Activation option.
- Now, select your account number and then the new inactive cheque book.
- Select the OTP via SMS option for authentication.
- Once the OTP is enter, new cheque book will be activate.
How to Transfer Central Bank of India Account?
Method 3: Via Branch
If you are not using net or mobile banking, ask the bank official to activate after collecting the cheque book. Tell them that you don’t have an online banking facility, so request them to activate it.
