So, follow these steps to transfer SBI account to another branch online: 

1. First of all visit Online SBI page. Click Here
2. Click on “Continue to Login“
3. Enter your Username, Password and click on “Login“
4. Your internet banking dashboard will open.
5. Go to “e-Services” menu and click on “Transfer of Saving Account” link.
6. Next, enter Branch Code and click “Get Branch Name” button.
7. After finding your branch name, click on “Submit“.
8. Now, check all the details and click on “Confirm“.
9. Next, enter the One Time Password (OTP) and click on “Confirm“.
10. Done! You will receive successfully submitted message.

    3. I/We request you to transfer/not transfer the CIF. (applicable where all accounts are not transferred. Where all accounts are transferred or there is only a single account, the CIF will be mandatorily transferred.)
    4. I/We understand that if CIF is not transferred, my Home Branch will continue to remain the same.

After transfer of branch through online, should I need to go to new branch for passbook print?

You may get your passbook updated at any branch, but the first page of the passbook can only be printed at your home branch.

CIF will be transfer by the branch if the account in question is the only account under the CIF. In case of multiple accounts under the CIF, a separate application shall be provided to the branch for transfer of CIF.
