How to Generate a Punjab Gramin Bank ATM Card PIN?

The complete process has been divided into two parts. First, you need to generate an an OTP and then set up a PIN.

For generating OTP, there are two methods.

Method 1: By Sending SMS

Type DCPIN<Space><ATMCardNumber> to 8512011115 from your registered mobile number.

Once successfully verified, you will receive a 6-digit OTP on the registered mobile number with a validity of 72 hours.

If not received, you can try resending the SMS.

Method 2: Through ATM

Visit any nearby PNB ATM, insert your card and select a language. Click on Generate PIN and then click on OTP Generation.

You will receive one 6-digit OTP which will be valid for 72 hours.

Once OTP is received, proceed with the below steps.

Once OTP is received, next you need to set up your PIN within 72 hours. For this, there are two methods. You can choose any according to your convenience.

Method 1: Using PNB ATM

Visit any nearby PNB ATM machine and insert your debit card. Next, click on PIN Generation. Now, click on OTP Validation and enter 6-digit OTP that you received.

Click on Yes, and enter your new 4-digit PIN of your choice. Re-enter your new PIN for confirmation.

So, in this way, the new PIN will get set.

Method 2: Using PGB Mobile Banking

If you are using the PGB mobile banking application, then you can set it up from anywhere.

So, follow these steps:

  • Log in to the PGB mobile banking app. Download PGB App iOS
  • Click on Debit Card and then Generate Green PIN.
  • Select Account Number and click on Continue.
  • Enter the ATM card number for which OTP has been received.
  • Enter the expiry year and month and enter the 6-digit OTP received on your registered mobile number. Click on Continue.
  • Enter your new PIN and re-enter to confirm it.
  • Click on Submit. You will get a confirmation message on screen.
