The one that is showing below was created through an SBI branch, but still I can view it online. This is a new feature introduced by SBI recently. With this one can easily cancel SI. . How to View or Cancel Standing Instruction for PPF in SBI Online?
Path: Login>Request & Enquiries>Standing Instruction for PPF>View/Cancel>Enter reason>Confirm>Ok
So, follow the below steps:
- First of all, log in to SBI net banking. Online Banking
- Once logged in, go to Request & Enquiries and click on Standing Instruction for PPF.
- Now, you can see multiple options. Click on View/Cancel.
- You can now see active standing instructions. Click on Standing Instruction Ref. No. A new page will open.
- All the information related to SI can be seen. Enter the reason for cancelling the SI. You can mention it as a fund issue. Click on Confirm to proceed.
- Again, click on Ok to confirm.
- In this way, standing instruction will get cancel. You can also see confirmation on the screen as below.
Note:
- If a transaction fails due to any specific reason, system will attempt to repost the transaction thrice every day for three consecutive working days, until it is successful.
- Standing Instruction cannot be cancel if any transaction is scheduled for the current date.
Add Standing Instructions (SI) in SBI Online
Can I view or cancel a standing cancellation that was set up through a branch?
Yes. You can also view or cancel standing instructions anytime online, even if they were created by the branch. Even for my case, it was created through a branch, and I was able to cancel it online.
